Refund & Return Policy

At our wildlife art studio, we take immense pride in delivering top-tier preservation, historical artifacts, and studio supplies to collectors worldwide. Because we handle delicate biological specimens, custom artisan displays, and rare collector pieces, our return policy is designed to ensure fairness, legal compliance, and total transparency.

Please read our return policies below regarding your purchases, whether you bought directly from our site or through our accredited online channels.

Due to the unique and fragile nature of taxidermy, all sales of authentic taxidermy mounts for sale are considered final once delivered and accepted, except in cases of shipping damage or misrepresentation of item condition.
Standard Return Conditions:
  • Return Window: Any issues must be reported to our support team within 48 hours of carrier delivery confirmation.
  • Condition: Eligible returned items must be in the exact condition in which they were shipped. Altered, dirty, or damaged mounts cannot be refunded.
  • Return Authorization: Returns are not accepted without a pre-approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Large North American & Exotic Game Mounts
Due to specialized freight and crating requirements, large specimens require extra care during return transitions. Inspect your package thoroughly upon arrival:
  • Bears & Big Cats: Orders featuring a black bear taxidermy for sale, massive taxidermy grizzly bear for sale, apex lion taxidermy for sale, or ultra-rare taxidermy tiger for sale are shipped via custom wooden crates. If crating damage is visible upon delivery, note it immediately on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Antlered & Horned Megafauna: Oversized wall displays—including a moose head taxidermy for sale, massive moose taxidermy for sale, elk taxidermy for sale, regal stag head taxidermy for sale, classic taxidermy stag head for sale, or impressive taxidermy bison head for sale—are eligible for damage-in-transit claims provided photo proof is sent within 48 hours.
Small Mammals & Aquatic Specimens
Medium and small wildlife pieces are packaged using high-density foam wrapping to protect sensitive fur and structural features:
  • Mid-Sized Predators & Aquatic Mammals: Inspect items such as a taxidermy bobcat for sale, sleek taxidermy beaver for sale, stealthy fox taxidermy for sale, or play-posed raccoon taxidermy for sale upon arrival.
  • Small Critters: Delicate displays like a squirrel taxidermy for sale, nocturnal taxidermy opossum for sale, or marine specimens like a taxidermy shark for sale will be repaired or replaced if damaged during transit.
Avian & Reptilian Collections
  • Birds & Waterfowl: Plumage is sensitive to pressure during transit. We cover damage claims on bird taxidermy for sale, including game birds like a mallard taxidermy for sale, if feathers or mount wire bases break in shipment.
  • Reptiles: Preserved scale work, such as taxidermy snakes for sale, is thoroughly inspected before dispatch to guarantee structural integrity.
Domestic Animals, Soft Mounts & Equine Displays
We understand the specialized interest in unique mounting styles and domestic wildlife preservation:
  • Pliable Displays: Items categorized as a soft mount taxidermy for sale (poseable plush-style forms with real fur) follow standard return checks for seam integrity and leather quality.
  • Domestic & Equine Specimens: Unique mounts including a cat taxidermy for sale, large-scale horse taxidermy for sale, or custom taxidermy horse for sale require specialized handling fees if approved for return due to carrier constraints.
Collector, Antique & Historic Pieces
When purchasing pre-owned, historic, or vintage taxidermy for sale, minor natural aging, patina, or historical wear is expected and detailed in our listing photos. Returns on general taxidermied animals for sale from estate collections are restricted to instances where an item significantly deviates from its description.
Curiosities & Eccentric Art
Whether you purchase rare oddities or unusual taxidermy for sale, all novelty and custom-sculpted pieces are final sale once shipped.
We carry commercial-grade mounting gear for artists and taxidermy studios:
  • Forms & Mannequins: Standard, unused taxidermy forms for sale may be returned within 14 days of receipt, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Display Hardware: Unopened taxidermy mounting stands for sale are eligible for full store credit or refund upon inspection.
If you purchased inventory originating from our store listings on third-party domain auctions or marketplaces (e.g., items tracked as taxidermy for sale ebay or cross-listed on taxidermy.net for sale forums), your refund request must be processed directly through that respective platform’s resolution center according to their posted buyer protection guidelines.
  • Take Photos: Capture clear, high-resolution photos of the outer shipping box, inner packaging material, and the damaged or defective area of the specimen.
  • Contact Support: Email our customer service team at returns@yourtaxidermygallery.com with your order number and photo attachments within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Receive RMA & Instructions: If approved, our team will issue an RMA number along with specialized packing and return-shipping instructions.
  • Processing: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after our studio receives and inspects the returned item.
